General Election
A General Election is the election in which federal and state officers, members of Congress and of the general assembly, county and township officers, and other officers appear on the ballot. General Elections are held the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November of each even-numbered year.

August 26 @ 5 p.m. - Candidate Filing Deadline for Hospital Board, Soil & Water and Ag Extension
September 7 - Labor Day; Office Closed
October 14 - First Day to Mail Absentee Ballots
First Day of Early Voting in Auditor's Office (Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
October 19 - Voter Pre-Registration Deadline
Deadling to Mail Absentee Ballots
Saturday, October 31 - Auditor's Office Open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. for Early Voting
November 2 - Last Day to Early Vote in Auditor's Office
November 3 - Election Day - Polling Places Open 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
8 p.m. Deadline to Receive Mailed Absentee Ballots
