Center For Voter Information (CVI) Mailing

August 28, 2025

The Center For Voter Information has recently sent out mailings to residents regarding voter registration.

These are NOT from the Election’s office at The Mahaska County Courthouse.

While we welcome efforts to engage voters and promote voter participation, we recognize that these mailings are unsolicited and often times confusing, especially to those who are already registered to vote.

You can go online to the Iowa Secretary of State’s office to see if you are registered to vote: https://apps.sos.iowa.gov/.../voterreg/regtovote/search.aspx (Please use your legal name when you are searching)

You do not need to do anything with the letter if you are already registered to vote.

To be removed from their mailing list, information is listed at the bottom of the letter. You can email them unsubscribe@centerforvoterinfromation.org and use the code at the bottom of the letter.

We encourage recipients with questions about the mailing to contact them by phone at 866-204-4137
