Multiple Absentee Ballot Request Forms

September 18, 2020

Voters are receiving absentee ballot request forms from a variety of sources.  To date, the Mahaska County Election Office is aware of request forms originating from the Center for Voter Information, both the Republican and Democratic parties and the Iowa Secretary of State’s office.

Voters can choose just one and mail it to Mahaska County Auditor, 106 S 1st St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577.

Voters may accidentally send in more than one request, but no matter how many requests we receive, we will only send out one ballot to the requester.

Voters can track their ballot request status on the Secretary of State’s website at this link.

The first day that ballots can be mailed to voters is October 5, 2020. If you have already requested your ballot watch for it that week. Voters have until October 24, 2020, to request a ballot be mailed to them.
